Key Scripture: “And let them as lights in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth and it was so.” Genesis 1:15
"Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:10
Do you remember when God told Abraham that his seed would be as many as the stars in the heavens? It is a perfect picture of what the “seed of Abraham” (that would be you and that would be me) has been called to be to earth. We are to shine with the Light of the world and we are to bring that light to earth.
What is heaven on earth? Healing wholeness, prosperity, power of God, wisdom applied, dreams fulfilled, unity of the Spirit, His presence, the liveliness of His life, and PEACE! These are the power tools we have been given and yet we still keep bringing earth to earth. I will never forget what God told Charles Capps, “I keep telling my people they can have what I say and they keep saying what they have.” Your heavenly Father keeps telling us to bring “heaven to earth”, and we keep bringing "earth to earth”. You get to spend as much time as you want with the King of kings every single day of your life. How will you spend it? Will you “unwrap” your problems or “unwrap” the gift of being able to bring heaven to your problems? That begins with Praise. P-r-a-i-s-e. Praise for Who He is, and for what He has said He will do. Praise for His faithfulness and loyalty to you and praise for an unbreakable covenant with Him. Praise always leads to thankfulness. As you begin to remind yourself of all the “wonderful” about God it opens your heart to spend time being thankful that no matter what, He will be wonderful for YOU! Step three is presenting your requests, with thanksgiving. Requests are to be framed in thankfulness! Thankfulness that He is good, that He does answer all your prayers, and make every twisted place straight in your life. Effective prayer always brings heaven to earth.
If you spend your valuable time with grumbling and complaining, continually re-iterating the problem to Him, you’re wasting time. What that does is increase the size of your problem in your mind and decrease your attention on the promise of the goodness of God for you.
Faith brings heaven to earth. Doubt states what is and not what has been promised.
A renewed mind brings heaven to earth. An un-renewed mind brings earth to earth.
Which one do you want in your life?
The words of your mouth will either bring life or death.
Which one will you choose?
You can talk your problems all day long or you can frame them in heaven’s promises.
You can say what you see or see what God sees.
Is it time for a change UP?
Power Thought:
Do you want your mind filled with “problem thoughts” or “power thoughts”?
