Power Of Grace

Key Scripture:  "Through Him, a joy-producing grace cascaded into us..."  Romans 1:5, TPT
Power Point:
Grace is such an important word for us to understand.  I've always heard the definition of Grace as "undeserved favor”.  Then one day I heard someone say that if grace were only given to the "undeserving", Jesus wouldn't have qualified! No one was more deserving than He was!  And we know that He GREW in GRACE!
Grace is God's joy and kindness released to anyone and everyone, without exception.  I keep thinking of a young man I know who is a total loss in the eyes of the world. In fact, at times he is total loss in my eyes. And yet, I have to remind myself that he is still a target for God's grace. He's lost but He's not so lost that the Shepherd can't find him. He is the natural man who has stayed natural, refusing every offer of help so far. And he lives in the pit of destruction. There truly is no way out.
Except for grace.
I think of the daughter of a friend of mine.  She became an alcoholic at an early age. Though a kind person with a Christian background and a personal relationship with Christ herself, she lost her way and began to turn to alcohol.  She finally went to a Christian rehab. That was six years ago. She has not touched alcohol since.  She would have died without help. She would have failed-
Except for grace.

The important thing to remember is that you're never too "bad" for grace and you're never too "good" for grace.  After 40 years of walking with the Lord, I can honestly say that there are still MANY areas were I need to grow in grace and I still receive it every day.  I receive it when I'm doing everything perfectly and I receive it when I'm doing everything badly.  I love the joy and the kindness of God when I've done something really exceptional. There's just nothing like it!
Except maybe when I've missed my mark, and feel as though I've disappointed Him. That's when His good humor, His cheerful, "That's okay sweetheart-you get another chance tomorrow!" is music to my ears!
Grace is for the unlovely but it’s also for the "lovely".  Whether you're seeking God with all your heart, or you're totally ignoring Him, He's still there offering you your serving of grace for the day. Grace is just who God is and its who He wants to be for you!  His favor and His blessings are ready to be unwrapped by you today, whether you deserve them or whether you don't.
Isn't He amazing?
Our mistakes don't bother God.  He's not worried that if He helps us we won't learn our lesson!    Grace is the epitome of His joyful, and
kind, goodness.  It doesn't depend on us -it always depends on Him. He can't ever act ungraciously, or unkindly, or in an unloving manner. He can't BE that way because He is totally and completely good, kind, gracious and loving-with EVERY fiber of His being.
Our problems don't bother God.  That's why He has given us His wonderful GRACIOUS promises to apply His favor to them.  Every single word comes from the beautiful heart of God.
Every one is full of hope and power to bring the supernatural into the natural.

There's not one of us who deserves His grace but every one of us is a candidate for it.
His grace causes your faith to grow.
His grace embraces your heart and breathes hope.
His grace lifts your thoughts into heavenly places.
His grace always takes you through the natural, supernaturally.
Get a grip on grace and whatever you, don't let go!

Power Thought:
“May His joyous grace and total well-being, flowing from our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ rest upon you.  Romans 1:1, TPT
