Power Of Love In Action

Key Scripture:  "And I ask Him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you'll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ's love."  Ephesians 3:18-20

Power Point:
Recently we've been talking about Love; Perfect Love, Active Love, God's love. I'm really enjoying taking the scripture and looking at it a bit differently.
Let's try a turn around in ! Corinthians 13.  Ready?  Here's the Suzanne version. (actually a combination of different versions.)

God is patient and kind.
God never gives up. He cares more for others than He does for Himself.
He is not irritable.
God doesn't keep a record of the wrongs we've done. He just forgives them, and moves on.
He doesn't have a swelled head and cherish inflated ideas of His own importance. He humbles Himself.
He never forces Himself on others.
He isn't always "me first".
God never flys off the handle.
He doesn't revel when others grovel. He never gloats over the wickedness of other people.
God is happy when truth prevails.

God has no limits on His ability to endure, no end to His faith in us, and His hopes for us never fade.
He is always faith-full, hope-full, and He never gives up.

God's love outlasts anything and everything. He always looks for the best in us, never looks back and His love always endures to the end.

God's love is the one thing that is still standing strong when everything else has fallen.

Beloved, until we can truly understand how high, how wide, how long, and how deep His love really is, we'll never know what real love is.

And until we know that, we will never know the goodness of the fullness of the power of God's love for us.

Power Thought:
You woke up loved by God this morning. You'll go to sleep loved by God tonight. And tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day. Forever and ever and ever.
