Power Of The Yoke

Key Scripture:  "And it shall be that the burden will be removed from your shoulder, and the yoke from your neck. The yoke will be removed because of the Anointing."  Isaiah 10:27, (Suzanne version)

     We don't often see "yokes" in our regular daily lives do we?  Teams of oxen or horses aren't something we observe on a regular basis.  Yet most of us have yokes don't we? We have burdens that we carry that we were never intended to have.  When Jesus came, He made it very clear that He was changing things. A yoke is something that "binds" you to someone or something.  Jesus said, Take MY yoke upon you".  What is the result of His yoke? 

"You shall find rest for your mind, your will, and your emotions." 

Wouldn't you like to be yoked to "rest"?

What are you yoked to now?

Are you:

Yoked to unbelief?

Yoked to poverty?

Yoked to fear?

Yoked to procrastination BECAUSE of fear?

Yoked to anger?

Yoked to worry and doubt?

Yoked to sorrow?

OR are you:

Yoked to amazement in the nature and love of God?

Yoked to faith in His goodness?

Yoked to the Power of God?

Yoked to comfort, peace and rest?

     When you put on the yoke that Jesus offers you, you are stepping into a divine connection with Father God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit.  It's an all-powerful, intimate relationship.  They are speaking to you every moment, giving you direction, and hope, and encouragement. When you are plowing through your life in harness with them, you are able to till the soil so that the Good Seed that they carry is planted, tended,and bears much fruit.

If you are yoked to Jesus you are yoked to peace, a prosperous soul, and a protective covering over you at all times.

If you are yoked to Jesus, you are yoked to the mind of Christ, and the higher thoughts that He has.

If you are yoked to Jesus, His anointing will break every negative, harmful yoke in your life.

The really  good news is that whatever negative thing you have been yoked to before can be removed TODAY, and you can get into harness with the King of Kings, who always and only goes about doing GOOD and healing all who are harassed and beaten down and oppressed by the power of the devil-in any way, shape or form. Why?  Because He is God, and because He is Good, and He is with you!

What and who will you choose to be yoked to today?
